Heavy rain warning in Uttarakhand, Red Alert in 4 districts of Himachal, school-college closed

Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are expected to have heavy rains on Monday (June 30). The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert warning of heavy rains in 4 districts of Himachal Pradesh and 9 districts of Uttarakhand. Due to rain and landslides in many places, people are having trouble and many people were trapped in different places. In such a situation, Himachal CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has given instructions for leave in educational institutions of Kangra, Mandi, Solan and Sirmaur. A red alert of heavy rains has been given in these four districts.
In view of the warning of heavy rainfall in some districts of the state, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has instructed the Deputy Commissioners of the concerned districts to issue orders to close all schools in their respective districts keeping in mind the red alert issued by the India Meteorological Department. This decision has been taken giving priority to the safety of the students.
Red alert in these districts of Himachal
There is a possibility of widespread rainfall activity during the next 24 hours in the state. The intensity of rain is likely to increase again from this evening. Keeping in mind the heavy rains in the last 24 hours and the possible heavy to very heavy rains in the coming time, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for district Solan, Sirmaur, Kangra and Mandi. The state government is constantly monitoring the situation and appeals to the people to follow the instructions issued by the local administration.
Adi Kailash Marg again closed
Rain has become a disaster in Dharchula. The route of Adi Kailash Yatra has been closed again. Adi Kailash Yatra route has closed due to rock cracking in Dobat. The working organization is busy opening the road. However, it may take time to open the road. It has been raining torrential in Dharchula since late night. Due to this, landslides are increasing in wet soil.
Torrential rain continues in Rudraprayag
In Rudraprayag district, there is a period of torrential rains since late Sunday night. Life has become badly disturbed due to rain. Devotees visiting Kedarnath Dham have been stopped in Sonprayag. Landslides are taking place on the Kedarnath highway. Debris and boulder fell from the upper hill in Vijayanagar of the highway. This has caused heavy damage to four to five vehicles. Badrinath Highway is also closed in Sirobgad since late night. Hundreds of vehicles are stranded on both sides of the highway.
Red alert in these districts of Uttarakhand
The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert warning of heavy rains in Champawat, Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Pauri Garhwal, Rudra Prayag, Tehri Garhwal, Udham Singh Nagar and North Kashi in Uttarakhand.
