Amid heavy rains, a shocking video has surfaced from Uttarkashi district of the state. In Uttarkashi, a vehicle went uncontrolled and fell into the swollen river. After this, the driver of the vehicle has appeared to protect himself by climbing the bonnet. According to the information, the local people have saved the driver’s life. The video of this incident is becoming quite viral.

How did the driver survive?

According to the information, only the driver was riding in the vehicle that fell in the swollen river. The accident was very serious, but the driver’s understanding and readiness saved his life. He had to struggle a lot to get out of the vehicle flowing in the river. The locals reached the spot in time and showed courage and took the driver out safely.

Police appealed to people

Police and administration teams also reached the spot as soon as the information of the vehicle falling in the river. The administration has started investigating the entire incident and appealed to the people to take great care in the hilly areas during the rains.

Red alert of rain in Uttarakhand

There is a possibility of heavy rains in Uttarakhand on Monday (June 30). The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert warning of heavy rains in the state’s Champawat, Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Pauri Garhwal, Rudra Prayag, Tehri Garhwal, Udham Singh Nagar and North Kashi.

There have also been incidents of landslides in many places amid heavy rains in Uttarakhand. Landslides are taking place on the Kedarnath highway. Debris and boulder fell from the upper hill in Vijayanagar of the highway. This has caused heavy damage to four to five vehicles. Rain has become a disaster in Dharchula.
