Offline registration for the Amarnath Yatra starting from July 3 has started. So far, the registration process is going on for the devotees who have not registered for the journey through online. Registration started from the administration on Monday (June 30) at the centers established by the administration and a large number of devotees have reached the special center on the first day. The Amarnath Yatra will begin on 3 July from Baltal and Pahalgam route. The Baltal road is 14 km, but there is a standing climb here. Because of this, this path is not for the elderly. At the same time, the distance of Amarnath cave via Pahalgam is 48 kilometers.
How to register?
Do not worry if you want to come on Shri Amarnath Yatra and have missed registration. Registration will start in Jammu from Monday. The first come first can register for the journey on the basis of first served. Immediate registration counters have been installed in Jammu city. On July 2, the first batch of devotees will leave and the journey will begin on the three. It is necessary to keep medical certificate, 4 passport size photos, Aadhaar card, RFID card, travel application form with the journey during the journey.
Where are the token centers?
Near Jammu railway station, Saraswati Dham: From here, devotees have to take tokens first. Medical checkup is mandatory for taking tokens, after which tokens are issued for registration.
Vaishnavi Dham, Jammu: A major center of offline registration for general devotees. After receiving the token, devotees can register here.
Panchayat Bhawan Mahajan, Jammu: It is also the center of offline registration for normal devotees.
E-KYC Center, Railway Station and Base Camp Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu: Specially created registration centers for saints and saints, where the process related to e-KYC and RFID cards is completed.
Nominated bank branches across the country: For offline registration, more than 533 bank branches have been prescribed across the country, including 309 branches of Punjab National Bank, 99 branches of State Bank of India, 91 branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank and 34 branches of Yes Bank.
How to get offline registration?
For offline registration, devotees will have to take Aadhaar card, passport size photo, medical fitness certificate (from a doctor authorized by SASB), and other identity cards (eg voter ID or PAN card). After taking tokens in Jammu, registration can be completed by submitting medical certificates and other documents at the prescribed center. Registration Fee: Offline registration fee for Indian citizens is Rs 120 per person and Rs 220 per person online.
There is no fear of Pahalgam attack among devotees
Talking about the fear of Pahalgam attack, a devotee who came to the center for registration said, “This time people are excited. There is no fear. The arrangements are good. The administration is with us.” Another devotee said, “You can see enthusiasm among people. I have faith in Amarnath. Whatever they can do, we will not mind. I want to request all people to come to Jammu and Kashmir so that our army and government can say that we are not influenced by their (terrorists) of the antics.”
CRPF made a special plan
Prior to the Amarnath Yatra, the CRPF has launched a strong multi -level security scheme on the Jammu -Srinagar National Highway (NH -44) to ensure the safety of pilgrims. The Jammu -Shrinagar highway is one of the important routes for thousands of pilgrims. The CRPF has increased the surveillance, the important route used by thousands of pilgrims has deployed K -9 (dog) squads with its personnel on the Jammu -Srinagar National Highway, and strengthened highway patrolling by paying special attention to sensitive areas such as Udhampur sector.
