Bangladesh Hindu girl: Hindus are constantly being targeted in Bangladesh. In recent times, there have been many media reports in which the atrocities with Hindus have been reported. The houses have been burnt, murdered and even forcibly resigned to take Hindus out of their jobs. But, now a Hindu girl has been haunted in Bangladesh. Here the gang rape incident with a Hindu girl has been carried out.
Where did the incident happen?
This incident of havoc with a Hindu girl took place in Komila district of Bangladesh. After the gangrape with a Hindu girl, people’s anger has arisen in Bangladesh and there have been large -scale protests. Students of Dhaka University have staged a massive protest against the incident and demanded strict action against criminals. Students of Dhaka University, condemning the gang rape, took out a march in the campus. Students of Jagannath Hall Hostel dedicated to minority students took out a procession demanding justice.
When did the incident happen?
The incident took place on 26 June, when a 21 -year -old victim was gangraped by a local leader at her house in Komila. A video of the girl was also made during the gangrape. The case came to light when the video of the woman’s Haviyat with the woman went viral on social media.

What did the police do?
So far, the police have arrested five people, including the main accused Fazor Ali (36) who is the local leader in connection with the incident. Police chief Nazir Ahmed Khan of Komila district said that the main accused has been arrested after raiding the Saidabad area of Dhaka. Four others have been arrested on social media for highlighting the woman’s picture and identity.
What did the High Court say?
Former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia’s Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has demanded strict punitive action against the culprits on this entire matter. Meanwhile, the High Court has issued instructions to the officials to remove the video that went viral on social media immediately. A bench of two judges has also asked the concerned authorities to ensure the safety of the victim and provide them necessary treatment.
Minorities targeted in Bangladesh
Sajib Ahmed Vajd, son of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, posted on the social media platform X and said, “Younus has been guilty of increasing crowd attacks, terrorism and rape incidents in the last 11 months. Incidents of violence against minority communities have increased in Bangladesh after the fall of Hasina -led Awami League government in August last year.
