The record breaking rain in many states of the country is raining as a period. The water level of rivers has increased, roads have become sea and many roads are closed due to landslide. Even today, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for heavy rain. According to the department, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh may receive heavy rains. There is also a risk of landslide in many areas. Apart from this, there is a warning of rain in many states including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. According to the IMD, the monsoon can show its rage in the next 48 hours. At the same time, there is also rain alert in Delhi-NCR, Punjab and Rajasthan.

How will the weather be in the capital Delhi?

Today, the sky in Delhi will usually be cloudy. Light to moderate rains are likely to fall as well as lightning. On June 2, the sky in Delhi will usually be cloudy. There will be light rain with thunderstorms and electricity. The sky will be cloudy from 3 to 5 July in Delhi. There is also a possibility of light rain with thunderstorms.

How will the weather be in UP?

On July 1, there may be showers at many places in western and eastern UP with rain and thunderstorms. While heavy to very heavy rains are likely in western UP, heavy rains are expected in eastern UP. According to the IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and its surrounding areas, while Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar and Kanpur are expected to receive heavy rains. Similarly, there may be heavy rains in Kanpur Nagar, Mathura, Hathras, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun and its surrounding areas.

Red alert in 9 districts of Uttarakhand

There has been heavy havoc in Uttarakhand due to rain and cloudburst. The biggest loss has occurred on the Gangotri-Yamunotri route of Uttarkashi where landslide incidents are taking place on the National Highway. In view of this, a red alert has been declared in Uttarkashi, Yamunotri, Gangotri. After the Ganga water level rises at Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh, SDRF warn people by announcing and warned people not to enter the river.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in a total of 9 districts including Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Tehri, Pauri, Rudraprayag, Haridwar, Nainital, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar. At the same time, the roads are completely closed due to landslide and debris falling in many parts of Gangotri and Yamunotri National Highway.

Monsoon form in Himachal

Along with Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh is also getting a rage form of monsoon. While the river-drains are in spate due to heavy rains, people are facing huge problems due to cracking the mountains and debris on the roads. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Himachal Pradesh from 01 July to 06 July.

Know the condition of other states-

Along with the mountains, there is a havoc of rain-floods in the mountains as well as the plains and the most intimidation pictures are coming out from Gujarat.

Many states of the country are receiving heavy rains, due to which the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain. According to the department, today there is a warning of heavy rains in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka and Rajasthan, then there may be heavy rains in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi.

  • Today, heavy to very rain an orange alert has been issued in Uttarakhand, Western Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Bihar.
  • Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Eastern Rajasthan, Gujarat, North Inner Karnataka, Konkan, North-Eastern states, Jharkhand, West Bengal and eastern Uttar Pradesh may also receive heavy rains.
  • There is a possibility of rain in Haryana and Chandigarh during July 2 and 5 and 6 July. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in western and eastern Rajasthan from 3 to 6 July.
  • There is a possibility of rain in Jharkhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during July 1 to July 6.
  • There is a possibility of heavy rainfall at different places in Vidarbha, Gangetic West Bengal during July 1 and 4-6 July. There is a possibility of rain in Madhya Pradesh on 1, 4 and 5 July.
  • There is a possibility of light to moderate rains, as well as thunderstorms and strong winds at a speed of 30-40 kmph during the next 7 days.

With the monsoon active across the country, the rains for the past few days have given great relief to the people from the heat. The weather has become pleasant after the rains and the temperature has also recorded a drop. According to the Meteorological Department, this situation may persist for the next few days.
