Dilip Kumar was the most won actor, the name is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records

Bollywood veteran actor Dilip Kumar was born on 11 December 1922 in Peshawar, Pakistan. His real name was Mohammad Yusuf Khan but after the arrival of films he became Dilip Kumar. Dilip Kumar started his film career in the year 1944 with the film ‘Jowar Bhata’.

In his five -decade long career, he gave many superhit films and also won many awards. Dilip Kumar is recorded in the name of Dilip Kumar to receive the most film fair award as the best actor in the Hindi film industry.

Apart from this, Dilip Kumar won a Filmfare’s Lifetime Achievement Award, National Film Award, Padmabhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Dadasaheb Phalke Award and the highest civilian honor Nishan-e-Phastan given by the Government of Pakistan.

Dilip Kumar’s name is also recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most award -winning Indian actor. Dilip Kumar is recognized as Tragedy King of Indian cinema and first Khan superstar.

Significantly, Dilip Kumar gave many hits like Mughal-e-Azam, Devdas, Naya Daur, Ram and Shyam. He was last seen in the 1998 film ‘Fort’.
