Now the Government of India has appealed to the government of Mali for safe release of Indian citizens.

How did Indians get kidnapped?

West African country Mali Indian citizens have been kidnapped from the Diamond Cement Factory in Kayes. All three Indian citizens were working in the cement factory. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the kidnapping incident took place on the date of July 1. According to the information, a group of armed attackers carried out a coordinated attack in the factory complex and forcibly hostage three Indian citizens.

What did the Government of India say?

A day later, the statement of the Indian Foreign Ministry has also come to light on the incident of kidnapping of three Indian citizens in Mali on Tuesday. The Government of India on Wednesday expressed deep concern over the incident and asked the government of Mali to take all necessary steps to ensure safe and early release of Indian citizens.
