Akash deep dismissed duckett and Pope: In the second Test against England, Bengal fast bowler Akash Deep made Team India a tremendous start by making two consecutive shocks in his second over. Akash, who was included in the playing XI in place of Jasprit Bumrah, made the first Test centuries Ben Docket and Oli Pope walk one after the other.

When England’s batting came in the third session of the second Test being played between India and England in Birmingham, Akash Deep bowled that English batsmen Docket and Oli Pope could not even Sambhal. The 28 -year -old fast bowler was included in the team due to the workload management of Jaspreet Bumrah. Questions were also raised on his selection as many fans and experts believed that left -handed pace Arshdeep Singh should have got a chance.

But Akash Deep answered all the questions as soon as he landed on the field. He opened for India with a new ball. The first over was a little expensive and he looted 12 runs, but in the second over he improved his line and length and returned brilliantly.

On the fourth ball of his second over, Akash put a length ball outside the off stump, on which Ben Docket bathed and the ball came out of the thick edge and went into the hands of captain Shubman Gill standing in the slip. Gill caught the best catch with two hands. On the next ball, Akash Deep got a thick leading age in an attempt to put a big shot from Oli Pope. The ball went straight to KL Rahul, who caught the catch in the second attempt. Pope returned to the pavilion without opening an account.

In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, Akash Deep gave the same opening opening as Team India wanted the new ball in the absence of Jaspreet Bumrah.

Talking about the match, the second day of the second Test of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy being played between India and England at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham was completely named after the Indian batsmen. The Indian team scored 587 runs in the first innings on the basis of Shubman Gill’s historic 269 runs. Gill became the Indian captain who played the biggest innings in Test history. Jadeja played 89 and Washington Sundar played important innings of 42 runs.
