Nazir Hussain was born on 15 May 1922 in Usia village in Uttar Pradesh and on 16 October 1987, he left the world forever. During this time he was sent for the Battle of World War II. He was taken captive during the war and imprisoned in jail. Sometimes Singapore and sometimes Malaysia remained in jail.

When he returned to India after he was released from jail, Netaji was very impressed with Subhash Chandra Bose and started considering him as his ideal and became a part of Azad Hind Fauj. After coming to India, he was unemployed for some time, but then he joined the theater and during this time he met Bimal Roy. Bimal Roy made him his assistant. He started helping him in writing with him and gradually acting in films. In his film career, he appeared in most of Dev Anand’s films. After earning a name in Bollywood, he turned to Bhojpuri cinema.

After the idea of Bhojpuri cinema, he wrote the first Bhojpuri film ‘Maiya Tohe Piyari Chadaibo’. Along with working in this film, he also took over the rest of the responsibilities related to it. It was the first film of Bhojpuri cinema and released in 1963.
