He revealed that he and Ranbir Kapoor cut the fees for the project as they were not running after the money. Made in a budget of 125 crores, the film earned 83.35 crores worldwide and did 75.22 business in India. In the film ‘Jagga Jasoos’, Ranbir Kapoor plays Jagga and Katrina Kaif plays Shruti Sengupta.

Anurag said, ‘It is always covered. None of my producers will complain about this. So I know that this is the budget with which I should play. The metro is built on a minor budget because I knew that it has a group of artists, there is no big star. I am very conscious about this and the industry is very strange. He insisted that while making the film, his first rule is that even if the film does not work, everyone should earn money.
Why did Ranbir Kapoor cut fees
