Gurugram Metro: 15 stations will be built in first phase, first phase route map released, know which areas will be connected
Gurugram Now stands at the threshold of its next major change. After the hub of multinational companies, high-region luxury society and world class infrastructure, the metro is now coming to give a new look to Gurugram. There has been great progress over the construction work of the first phase of Gurugram Metro. Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) has found six of the eight companies correct. Now the financial proposals received from those companies are being evaluated. This large tender of ₹ 1286 crore will be allotted by the end of July.
What is included in the first phase?
In the first phase of Gurugram Metro Project, a ramp will be constructed to reach the proposed depot in a total of 15.22 km long metro, 15 metro stations, 1.85 km long spur (which will be connected to Dwarka Expressway) and the proposed depot in Sector 33. Millennium City Center (It will be connected to DMRC station of Delhi Metro through interchange)

Complete construction will be done in three stages
- First phase – Construction of Sector 101 from Millennium City Center
- Second phase – Metro connectivity between Sector 9 to Cyber Hub
- third step – Metro depot construction in Sector 33
Gurugram will get his metro
This project will provide an independent metro network to Gurugram for the first time, which will play an important role in connecting different parts of the city. Presently Gurugram is dependent on the Rapid Metro and Delhi Metro, but the new project will provide its self -sufficient metro system.
A total of 28.5 km long corridor
A 28.5 km long corridor will be prepared under the Gurugram Metro Project, which will include a total of 27 stations. Of these, 13 major stations are such that will directly affect the surrounding real estate market. Metro connectivity is expected to increase the price of property by 10–25%. Gurugram will become more attractive to investors due to better transit facility.
Metro will change the fate of new areas
CMD of Space India Group, Rakesh Yadav Said that Gurugram metro is a historical step towards the development of the city. Gurugram’s modern infrastructure, world-class residential society and metro network became an ideal destination for investors. Due to this, people living abroad along with the country are buying property here. I believe that with the arrival of the new metro project, the real estate sector will get a big boost. Gurugram will also become more attractive for global investors.
