SA vs Zim 2nd Test Highlights: On the third day of the second Test played in Bulawayo, South Africa defeated Zimbabwe by an innings and 236 runs to two matches Test seriesHe got his name 2-0. On the third day of the second Test match played at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, on Tuesday, July 8, South Africa defeated Zimbabwe by an innings and 236 runs to win the series 2–0. On the third day, Zimbabwe started their second innings beyond 51/1 and tried to avoid a big follow -on of 405 runs, but the entire team was all out for 220 runs in 77.3 overs.

Left -handed spinner Senuran Muthusamy shocked both Zimbabwe’s Overnite batsmen Takudzwana Qatano (40) and Nick Welch (55) at the beginning of the innings. After this, Kodi Yusuf shook the middle order by dismissing Tafadzwa Siga and Vesley Medhevere quickly.

Fast bowler Corbin Bosch took 4 wickets in the same spell, destroying the lower order. Wellington Masakadja and Tanaka Chivanga struggled for a while for the final wicket, but Muthusamy eventually took his third wicket and covered Zimbabwe’s innings.

Earlier, South Africa declared the innings by scoring 626/5 runs in the first innings. Vian Mulder played an unbeaten innings of 367* runs which included 49 fours and 4 sixes. Apart from them, David Bedingham and Luan-Dre Pretorius also scored half-centuries.

In the first innings, Zimbabwe’s team was reduced to just 170 runs, in which Pranelane Sabrain took 4 wickets and Mulder took 2 wickets. South Africa got a huge lead of 456 runs in the first innings itself. Due to which Zimbabwe’s return to the match became an essential and South Africa easily won this match.
