The teaser of Ramayanam made the makers rich, earned 1000 crores before the release of the film
The teaser of Nitesh Tiwari’s most awaited film ‘Ramayanam’ has been released recently. The teaser of this film, being made under Namit Malhotra’s company Prime Focus Studio, made a splash as soon as it was released. In the teaser, there was also a glimpse of Yash playing the role of Lord Rama, who became Lord Ram and Ravana.

‘Ramayanam’ has earned Rs 1000 crore from his first glimpse. After the teaser release, the price of Namit Malhotra’s company shares increased by 30 percent and between June 25 to July 1, the price increased from Rs 113.47 to Rs 149.69.
According to the Hindustan Times report, the company’s previous week was quite good, whose board allowed the release of equity of 462.7 million. This led to a 30 per cent of the company’s share price. When the discussion on the teaser of ‘Ramayanam’ increased greatly, the price of the share of Prime Focus reached its highest level.
On the day of the teaser launch i.e. on July 3, the share price was Rs 176, causing the company’s market cap which was Rs 4638 crore on 1 July, increased to Rs 5641 crore. In two days, the holdings of ‘Ramayanam’ gained Rs 1000 crore. When the market closed, the company’s share prize was Rs 169 and its market cap increased to about 5200 crores.
Let me tell you that Ramayanam, being directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is produced by the prime focus studios of Namit Malhotra and VFX studio DNEG, who has won 8 times, as well as the support of Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The film is being shot especially for a large format like IMAX. The first part of Ramayana will be released worldwide in Diwali 2026 and second part Diwali 2027.
