PM modi namibia visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed the Parliament of Namibia. In his address during this, PM Modi said, “It is a matter of good luck for me to address this dignified house of democracy. I thank you for giving this honor. I am present before you as the representative of the mother of democracy and I have brought with my heartfelt greetings from 140 crore people of India.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “This is the Constitution of India, due to which the daughter of a poor tribal family is the President of this largest democracy in the world today. He is the strength of the Constitution, due to which a person born in a poor family like me has the opportunity to become Prime Minister for the third consecutive time. One who has nothing, has a guarantee of the constitution.”
‘India is proud to stand with you’
Addressing Namibia’s Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “The people of India stood proudly with Namibia in your freedom struggle. Even before our independence, India raised the issue of Southwest Africa in the United Nations. The United Nations Shanti Sena in Namibia led an Indian Lieutenant General, Dewan Prem Chand. India is not able to stand with you.
‘Our friendship is on the test of time’
In his address, PM Modi said, “I am extremely proud to receive Namibia’s highest civilian award as a symbol of friendship among my people. Like the strong and beautiful plants of Namibia, our friendship has stood on the test of time. Your national plant, like Velvichia Mirabilis, gets stronger with time and age, it gets stronger with time and age.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “We not only give importance to our past relations, but are also focusing on realizing our shared future possibilities.
