‘Last chance …’, Karun Nair will be named in Playing XI of Lord’s Test? Akash Chopra said a big thing
Karun Nair Last Chance Ind vs Eng Lord’s Test: Karun Nair got a chance to return after about 8 years for the Test series being played between India and England. In the initial two Tests of the series, Nair was given a place in the playing XI, but he could not do anything special with the bat. Now questions have started to arise on Nair whether he should be fed in the third Test or not? Akash Chopra has given a very simple answer to this question.
Akash Chopra believes that Nair should be given a chance and should be made a part of Team India’s playing XI in Lord’s Test as well.
Akash Chopra expresses his opinion
Talking on his YouTube channel, Akash Chopar said about Karun Nair, “Will you feed Karun Nair or not? Will you keep Nitish Reddy or not? Now this is a big question. I would say that I would say another chance to Karun Nair, because it is Karun’s last chance. He had played first and the triple century was done and then it was not right.”
Have to do amazing in Lord’s
Akash Chopra further said, “Then he scored a lot of runs and returned to the team. He had talked about giving cricket a second chance. However, the story will end on a stage and this is the match. In the initial matches we saw a glimpse that he can do good batting, but he did not score too much.”
Karun Nair performs in both the initial Tests
Significantly, in the beginning, Nair could not touch the 50 -run mark in both the Tests. Nair scored 00 and 20 runs respectively in both innings of the first match played in the headingley of Leeds. Then at Edgbaston, Birmingham, scored 31 and 26 runs respectively in both innings. Now it will be interesting to see what Nair does in Lord’s.
