Target to plant 37 crore saplings
CM Yogi said that plantation is not just environmental obligation but is a campaign to secure the future. He informed that keeping in mind the Mahakumbh of 2025, this time a target has been set to plant 37 crore saplings in the state, out of which a large number of plants are being planted in a single day. Yogi said that today there is a new glow in the name of Uttar Pradesh. The state was once known as crime, anarchy and jungle, but today is known as the model of environment, law and order and development.

He further said that the youth of the state no longer have to struggle with the crisis of identity. Earlier the youth of UP were neglected in the name of their state, but now they proudly say that they are from Uttar Pradesh. ” The CM said that the forests were openly harvested in the state and the forest mafia was dominated.
CM said that we not only connected villages with roads, but also modernized the cities. Today, millions of LED street lights have been installed in the municipal bodies of the state, due to which electricity is being saved and the cities are illuminating.
