Jio Thermal Energy Policy gets Uttarakhand cabinet approval
A cabinet meeting was held on Tuesday under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun. A total of 6 important proposals were approved by the Cabinet in this meeting. The most important decision in this meeting was taken for the Jio Thermal Energy Policy, under which the proposal of thermal energy policy has been approved by the Uttarakhand cabinet. Explain that this policy will promote the development of alternative energy sources in the state, as well as the self -sufficiency of Uttarakhand in the field of energy. Explain that under this polic, electricity will be generated from the heat of the land due to the participation of the private sector in the state.
Jio thermal energy proposal in Uttarakhand approved
Explain that Jio thermal projects will be allocated for 30 years. In the state, 40 such places have already been identified in the state, where a plant will be set up for the project. Explain that this policy will be applicable to all geothermal projects of the state. This policy will be implemented in collaboration with UJVNL and Ureda. The cabinet meeting was held at the state secretariat on Wednesday under the leadership of CM Dhami. It was informed by the Department of Energy that technical and scientific research will be encouraged to discover and identify Jio thermal resources in view of economic and environmental practicality in the state.
Approval to amend the pension scheme of the elderly
Apart from this, it has also been decided to increase the number of posts in two major departments to improve departmental functioning in this meeting. Explain that 20 new posts will be created in the Vigilance Department. For this reason, the number of posts in this department will be read from 136 to 156. Apart from this, the number of posts in the GST department will also be increased, so that the monitoring process of tax collection can be strengthened. Also, keeping in mind the transparency and development in the mining sector, the formation of mining trust in the state of Uttarakhand has also got the green signal. Along with this, the Dhami government has also made important changes in the pension scheme for the elderly. In fact, the government has approved the amendment in the old age pension scheme.
