If you are not able to travel Kavad, then how to offer water to Shiva, know
In the Kavad Yatra, Kavadiya fills the water of a river or lake in two Matkis and performs Jalabhishek of the Shivling with that water in a Shiva temple. The journey from starting the journey is decided on foot. Many people are unable to travel Kavad for some reason or the other, but they remain in their mind that they too should be involved in this journey. If you are also thinking, then know how to offer water on Shiva that Kavad should get virtue like travelers. That is, even if you are not able to travel to Kavad for some reason, you can still offer water to Lord Shiva in your home or nearest Shiva temple with true devotion and devotion.

1. Small journey: Kavad Yatra is often several kilometers. If someone goes to 30 to 40 kilometers away and offers water, then some goes to the main Shiv temple and offer water. You can do this much that the situation around which Shiva temple should go to the Shiva temple on foot from a pond or river on foot and perform Jalabhishek of Shiva.
2. Jalabhishek: If you cannot even take a small journey, then take pure water of your house and go to Shiv Mandir. Add some Ganga water to this water. If Ganga water is not found, mix the water of Narmada, Godavari, Kaveri, Krishna, Yamuna, Brahmaputra, Kshipra, Mahanadi, Vaitarani, Jhelum, Chenab, Indus or any other river. Physical and mental heat disappears by performing this water. It also causes rain. Anointing with Ganga water cures fever. Salvation is attained by anointing with pilgrimage water. Anointing with Kusha water gets rid of disease and sorrow. For the peace of fever, do Rudrabhishek with cold water/ Ganga water.
3. Method of water offering:-

Bathing in the morning and wear clean clothes.

Take water in a lotus or copper vessel.

You can add a little Ganges water, belpatra, white flowers, black sesame and rice.

Chanting the mantra “Om Namah Shivaya” and offer water slowly on the Shivling.

While offering water, pray to Lord Shiva in your mind.

Put a little water in a matki hanging on top of the Shivling.
