Prime Video has announced exclusive global premiere of National Award Winner Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s documentary ‘Zero Se Ristart’. This documentary film, made under the banner of Vinod Chopra Films, is based on how ’12th fail’ made.

‘Zero Se Ristart’ has been edited and directed by Jaskunwar Singh Kohli. It shows Vidhu Vinod Chopra during shooting with his team and actors. This documentary can now be seen in more than 200 countries including India on Prime Video.

Ristart with zero filled with emotions shows a story that rests on truth, hard work, confidence and dream to fulfill. In this documentary, it has been told how the whole team made a 12th failed film by putting his heart. The hard work behind the film, small and big problems, mind talk, and ups and downs during shooting are shown well.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra said, “Restart from Zero, even though a ‘Behind-Sins’ documentary in the beginning, and yes, that is too.” But when it is seen, I hope that this will reveal an even more powerful story. When I started work on 12th failure, I myself did not know how to shoot it and still, this film is in front.

Editor-director Jaskunwar Singh Kohli said, I worked with Vidhu Vinod Chopra for three years on 12th failure. During this time I got a chance to see his creative process closely – from scripting to shooting and editing. For those who want to learn filmmaking, the restart from zero is no less than a gift.

He further said, by the way, there is no plan or scripted film from Zero. We have chosen the most fun and powerful 85 minutes of the total 18,850 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage shot in three years, which is only 0.0045% of the total footage! And I am very happy that now through prime videos we are able to share it with the whole world.

Vikrant Massey said, Ristart from Zero woke up that fear, that passion and that trust again. We shot at places where neither atmosphere nor security was decided. It was really inspiring to see Mr. Chopra repeatedly writing the script again and again, and to see his team working without tired.
