International Buddhist Confederation Conference: The Dalai Lama, the supreme religious guru of Buddhism, recently celebrated his 90th birthday on 6 July. Now on the occasion of the 90th birth anniversary of the Dalai Lama, the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) is organizing a one -day conference of Buddhist scholars, researchers, seekers and eminent spiritual leaders. The conference will be held from 9 am on 13 July 2025 (Sunday) at Ashoka Hotel, New Delhi. People attending this conference have been associated with the Dalai Lama for many years.

These topics will be discussed in the conference

To explain the ideas of the Dalai Lama in detail, discussions during the conference will include ‘relevance of Buddhism in the 21st century’ and ‘Tibetan Buddhist’s future and conservation of its culture’. The theme ‘Quantum Physics, Nervous Science and Buddhism’, which establish a relationship between traditional practices and scientific evidence, will also be discussed to carry forward the discussion on Buddhist knowledge, philosophy and modern science.

In today’s era, technological progress and artificial intelligence is giving a new look to our daily life. At a time when the world is changing rapidly, questions related to existence, purpose and consciousness still shake our mind. It is also a matter of view that, as we solve the secrets of the universe through science, we also understand its meaning through spiritual thinking. Professor Samdong Rinpoche, a noted and reputed scholar, teacher and philosopher, former Prime Minister of the Central Tibetan Administration and a prominent advisor to the Dalai Lama. Supporters of non -violence and Gandhian principles, their heritage continues to inspire spiritual integrity, intellectual excellence and devoted service to humanity. Rinpoche served as Chancellor of Sanchi University and President of the International Buddhist Confederation.

Vajra Rinpoche- Uttarakhand, India

The 43rd Shakya Trijin Khondung Gyan Vajra Rinpoche, Shakya is the vice -president of the Center who takes care of the welfare and education of local monks. He was trained in Shakya rituals and Buddhist philosophy from a young age. Rinpoche has received many common and unusual teachings from some prominent teachers of Tibetan Buddhism, including 14th Dalai Lama, Late Dorje Chang Chogye Trichane Rinpoche, Luding Khen Rinpoche, Luding Khen Rinpoche, Luding Khen Rinpoche, Jetsun Chim Luding Rinpoche and London Country App is included in Rinpoche.

Seon Ramon

Professor Zion Ramon is an Ephiliate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Washington. Professor Zion Ramon is active in human cognition research. After receiving PhDs in the field of laser physics and quantum optics from the University of Utah, they are involved in the development of EEG-based neurophydback and brain stimulation techniques for the treatment of brain disorders. He is also interested in Buddhist philosophy, and he is part of the team of experts formed by IBC. This team is preparing an application -based structure by studying the interface between Buddhism and neurological science.

Chenpo Dr. Nagwang Jordan – Principal International Buddhist Academy (IBA), Kathmandu

Dr. Jordan started his career at the age of 14 by completing his study at Sa-Nigor-Choe-Tsok Math in Gangtok and received his MA and PhD in Buddhist studies from Harvard University. Before joining the IBA, at the request of Param Goomon Shakya Trijin, Khenpo was teaching at the University of Jordan Chicago.

D. Tashi Choedron

Dr Tashi Choedron is an environmental sociologist, civil engineer and teacher who has done PhD in Environment and Resource Studies. Dr Tashi is working in Malaysia’s Vajrayan Buddhist Council and Malaysian Buddhist counselor counseling positions. Honored with several awards including excellent women awards in Buddhism, she has written compositions on protection and inter -religious dialogues. In 2023, he was elected the Vice President of the International Buddhist Confederation.

Sharpa Choayz Rinpoche Jetsun Lobsangdorji Pelsangpo

Lobsangdorji Pelsangpo is the highest head of the Geluga sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Sharapa Choege Rinpoche was born in 1937 in the Markhm Tsalo district of East Tibet and has a wide scholarly and spiritual credit. Sharapa is considered one of the greatest gurus of his generation. His appointment forwards a specific tradition that has been going on for six centuries, which maintains the spiritual heritage of J Tsongkhapa.

Professor Shishir Roy

Professor Shishir Roy, Visiting Professor at the Institute of Advanced Studies, India, is a theoretical physicist and the main field of his interest is the foundation of quantum theory, theoretical astronomy and universe. Professor Roy is working on brain work modeling and higher sequence cognitive activities as well as ancient Indian traditions.
