‘Sin in Sawan!’ Fans raging on Team India’s non -veg menu – the reason for the controversy leaked from Lord’s
Team India: The performance of Team India on the cricket ground is always in the headlines, but this time the reason for the discussion became something else in the players’ plate in the Lords Test. As soon as the picture of the non -veg lunch menu served to Team India in the holy month of Sawan, fans erupted. Many users started criticizing BCCI and team management with sharp comments like ‘Sawan Mein Papa’.
An interesting but controversial aspect came to light on the second day of the Lord’s Test, when England and Team India (Team India) lunch menu was posted on the Instagram account of Lord’s Cricket Ground.
This menu of Team India included 13 dishes such as chicken meatball, mutton curry, fish, cheese tikka, basmati rice, fruit salad and Greek Yogurt. This menu was prepared by keeping the choice of the players, but the matter over religious sentiments was involved in controversy.
Seeing non -veg dish created a ruckus on social media
As soon as the menu became public, a class on social media expressed displeasure over it. Especially in the month of Sawan, fans were enraged at the food served to Team India. Many users described it as “against tradition”, while some advised the board to “take sensitivity”.
Interestingly, the menu released by Lords was the same for both England and India teams, but the center of criticism on social media became only Team India. Some users also said that players should have diet and performance priority, not religious beliefs.
Fans’ two opinions on Team India’s non -veg menu
So far there has been no official response from BCCI to this dispute, but there have been two opinions among the fans on this issue. One class is calling it an “unnecessary dispute”, while the other is considering it against Indian culture.
However, this news, which came out of the players’ plate, is now in discussion more than the Lord’s Test. More than the strategies and performance of the match, now there is a debate on how appropriate it is to serve non -veg in Sawan.
