Stars reached Kota Srinivasa Rao’s last farewell

Veteran Telugu actor and former MLA Kota Srinivas Rao died in Hyderabad at the age of 83. Srinivasa Rao was cremated at his house on Sunday, 13 July. Where many celebrities of the Telugu film industry, including Megastar Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Prakash Raj, Venkatesh Daggubati and Rana Daggubati, paid tribute to him. His death has shocked not only the people of South Cinema but also to the entire Indian film industry. He made his debut in 1978 with ‘Pranam Karau’. He joined the BJP in the 1990s and was elected a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Vijayawada seat in 1999.

Chiranjeevi bowed the head with a red rose garland on the body of Srinivasa Rao and bowed down to the actor’s photo. Members of the actor’s family were also present in this mourning program. Actor and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan also reached the late actor’s house amid tight security. During a press conference, where Chiranjeevi talked about this huge loss to the industry, actor Brahmanandam also looked emotional during this period. He highlighted Kota Srinivasa Rao’s remarkable career of about five decades, identifying him as one of the best actors of Indian cinema. From villain to comedy, he has won the hearts of the audience with every character.
