Big announcement of Bihar government: 1 crore youth will get employment by 2025-30:
Patna: The Bihar government is going to take major initiatives towards making youth self -reliant and employment oriented. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has clarified that within the next five years (2025 to 2030), providing jobs and employment opportunities to one crore youth of the state will be a new goal. He shared information about this effect through his X (East Twitter) account.
According to the Chief Minister, this goal of the government is an extended form of planned plan efforts. He informed that so far 18 lakh youth in the state have got government jobs and 39 lakh youth have got employment under various self -employment schemes. In 2020, the state government is moving towards doubling it, increasing the target launched under “Seven Nischay-2”.
Light put on achievements of previous years
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that more than 8 lakh government appointments were made in Bihar from 2005 to 2020. After this, the next phase of outline was set up in the year 2020 under the seven-decision-2 scheme, which aims to create 10 lakh government jobs and 10 lakh jobs. This target was increased to 12 lakh jobs and 38 lakh jobs by 2025, making a total target of giving jobs or employment to 50 lakh youth.
Now that the state has reached near this goal, the government has decided to take it to the next level. The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction that so far more than 10 lakh youths have got government jobs and about 39 lakhs have got employment. He expressed confidence that the target of 50 lakh jobs set will be achieved on time.
New scheme for coming years: Vision from 2025 to 2030
Under the upcoming scheme, the government will work towards providing jobs and employment to one crore youth in the next five years. A high -level committee will be formed to achieve this goal, which will decide the policy direction and ensure that new employment opportunities are created in the private sector, especially the industrial sector.
This approach of the state government is not only limited to government jobs, but also aims to make the youth self -reliant and self -employmentable. Under this, skill development and training have been considered an important component.
Bihar will get a new skill university
The Chief Minister also announced in his post that a new skill university will be established in the state, which will become the center of giving employment -oriented training to the youth. The university will be established after the great leader of Bihar and Bharat Ratna Jannayak Karpoori Thakur and its name will be “Jannayak Karpoori Thakur Kaushal University”.
This university will empower the skill training programs running under the seven decision scheme and will provide technical, industrial and professional skills to the youth of the state. With this, they will be able to succeed not only in government jobs but also in private sector and entrepreneurship.
Youth will get clear direction and opportunity
This scheme of the Bihar government will not only empower the economic condition of the state, but will also give a new direction and purpose to the youth. Along with government efforts, it will be its main objective to prepare the youth for employment by training in private sectors as well.
