In the controversy over the flyover inauguration program in Bengaluru, Karnataka, Nitin Gadkari has made it clear that two letters were sent to Siddaramaiah from the Center. Nitin Gadkari has also shared photos of both the letter on social media platform X. He said that the first letter was sent to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on 11 July. At the same time, a second letter was sent on 12 July. It was said that Siddaramaiah Virtuuli could also join. However, he decided to stay away from the event. In such a situation, no Congress leader is attending this program.
Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar said on the absence of the Chief Minister at the event, “The central government should first inform the Chief Minister. The state government should be taken into confidence. The Chief Minister has also written a letter in this regard. While doing any such program, the Chief Minister should be informed a month ago. It is a huge program a month ago. It is a very big program. We spent more than Rs 2000 crore from our irrigation department. If we had already been informed if we had already been involved in that program.”
