In the Lord’s Test between England and India, there was a lot of sledging between the players of both teams and an example of this was also seen on the fourth day. England opener Ben Docket made fun of Indian captain Shubman Gill on the fourth day of the third Test before he was dismissed. The video of this sledging done with Gill is becoming quite viral.

Actually, Gill came down by scoring 585 runs in Lord’s Test, but Docket was heard saying on Stump Mike, ‘600 runs and so many runs are very much for Shubman for this series.’

Docket’s Sledging worked to distract Shubman and soon he was dismissed by Bridan Cars. 25 -year -old Gill started the series with an innings of 147 runs and joined the top players who scored a century in their first match of captaincy. However, his biggest moment came in Edgbaston when this young player scored 269 and 161 runs and won the Player of the Match award by scoring a total of 430 runs.

India won by 336 runs thanks to Gill’s brilliant performance in this match. After this, Gill was also expected to perform similar performances in Lord’s but he was able to score only 16 runs in the first innings at Lord’s and scored only 6 runs in the second innings. India is in trouble as soon as Gill is out.

After losing the wickets of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Karun Nair, Shubman Gill and Akashdeep, the visiting team is in trouble after scoring 58/4 runs chasing the target of 193 runs. Ben Stokes uprooted Akashdeep’s off stump on the last ball of the day and is now on KL Rahul on the fifth day because he is a set batsman on the crease, but if India has to win, the next batsman Rishabh Pant will be expected to contribute significantly from the bat. The pair shared a 141 -run partnership in the first innings. Therefore, the management will trust them on the fifth day to bring India closer to the target.
