S jaishankar China visit: India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar is on a tour of China. This visit of Jaishankar is expected to make widespread improvements between India and China. Meanwhile, Jaishankar first met his counterpart Wang Yi in Beijing and now he has met Chinese President Xi Jinping. The Foreign Minister has given information on social media about this meeting and has told that he has given the best wishes of PM Modi and President Draupadi Murmu to Xi Jinping.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also gave information related to the progress being made in bilateral relations to President Xi Jinping. Jaishankar also underlined during this period how important the role of the top leadership of the two countries is in giving direction to relations between India and China. Foreign Minister arrived in China on a two -day visit on Monday to attend a conference of SCO.
Jaishankar met his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi
Foreign Minister S Jaishankar had a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Monday earlier. During the meeting, Jaishankar had said that in the last 9 months, there has been good progress towards normalizing bilateral relations. He had said that India and China should now focus on reducing tension along the Line of Actual Control. In his initial speech at the meeting, Jaishankar said that the relationship between the two countries can move positively on the basis that differences should not be changed between India and China.

Before Wang Yi, Jaishankar met Chinese Vice President Han Zheng in Beijing. During the meeting, Jaishankar told Han Zheng that the continuous normal India-China relations can lead to beneficial results. Given the complex global situation, open exchange of ideas between the two neighboring countries is very important.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh visited China
Let me tell you that recently, India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh traveled to the Chinese port city Kingdao to attend the conference of Defense Ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). China is the current president of the Shanghai Cooperation Sangathan and hence is hosting the meetings of this group. In the last few months, India and China have initiated several measures to improve bilateral relations, which in June 2020 had severely deteriorated after clashes between the two armies.
