Tokyo: Japan has made a big statement about China. Japan has given strict warnings over China’s military activities in wide areas ranging from its southwest shores to the Pacific Ocean. Japan has described China’s steps as the biggest strategic challenge. Not only this, Japan also conducted a missile test for the first time in its field. Japan has conducted missile tests because of the ability to retaliate against Chinese resistance. In view of the danger from China, Japan has also increased its military preparations in recent years.

‘Japan has serious security concerns’

Japan’s Ministry of Defense said big things in the annual military report submitted to the cabinet on Tuesday. The report stated that China’s growing joint campaign with Russia, apart from increasing tension around Taiwan and possible threats from North Korea, is also creating serious security concerns for Japan. Japan increased military deployment

The report expressed concern over the growth of rivalry between China and America, citing significant changes in the balance of global power. The report stated that security threats are concentrated in the Indo-Pacific region, where Japan is located and in future these threats may be faster. Japan has increased its military deployment on the southwestern islands in recent years and is preparing to deploy long-range cruise missiles.

‘China’s antics can increase conflict’

Japan is worried about the conflict in Taiwan as China describes Taiwan as its territory and threatens to force it to its mainland if needed. The report came at a time when Japan told China to stop flying close to its fighter aircraft to its reconnaissance aircraft. According to Japan, China is doing this kind of action repeatedly and it is likely to increase the conflict. In response, China also accused Japan of flying its aircraft near the Chinese airspace with the intention of espionage. (AP)
