All astronauts landed on San Diego coast in California

Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla returned to Earth safely after completing the 18 -day mission on the International Space Station (ISS) on 15 July 2025. Under the Axiom-4 mission, he and his three associate commander Paigi Whiteson, Slavose Ujnansky-Vicenivsky and Hungary’s Tibor Capu SpaceX Dragon spacecraft rode in the ‘Grace’ and are riding through Splashdown in the Pacific Ocean near California’s San Diego coast.

During a 22.5 hour journey, the vehicle entered the Earth’s atmosphere at a speed of 27,000 km/h, where the temperature reached 1,600 ° C. After landing, all astronauts were taken for medical examination and seven days of rehabilitation, so that they could re -mourn the gravity of the Earth.
