First step- First of all, add 1 cup of semolina in a bowl and mix half a cup of curd and half a cup of water in it. Keep semolina and curd for 20 minutes to swell.

Second step- Only onion or any vegetable of your choice can be added to the cheela. Finely chop all the vegetables. We are making cheela by adding onion. This makes curd semolina cheela look very tasty.

Third step- Add finely chopped coriander and green chili to the cheela batter. Add half a teaspoon of ginger garlic paste. Mix half a teaspoon turmeric, a little crushed red chili and half a teaspoon garam masala.

Fourth step- Beat all the things well mixing with semolina and curd batter. If the batter looks thick, then add some water and salt as per taste.

Fifth step- Now spread the batter when the dosa pan or a non stick tava is hot. Apply light butter or ghee and bake it like cheela. In a way, when the cheela is roasted, turn over.

Sixth step- Bake the cheela until it turns brown from both sides. Similarly, prepare all the cheela and prepare it. Serve this cheela made of semolina and curd with green chutney or sauce. Children and elders will all like semolina and curd cheela.
