Rahul Roy made her Bollywood debut in 1990 through the film ‘Aashiqui’. With this film, Rahul became an overnight star. However, after ‘Aashiqui’, Rahul Roy’s magic faded and he gradually got away from the limelight. Rahul Roy had a brain stroke during the shooting of the film ‘LAC-Live the Battle’ in the year 2020.

At that time Rahul Roy’s financial condition was not good. Rahul Roy’s sister Priyanka had revealed that her hospital bill was filled by Salman Khan. In an interview to ‘Bollywood Hungama’, Priyanka Roy said that Salman Khan is the real hero, who helped her family in bad times.

Priyanka had said, when Rahul was shooting in Ladakh, her health started deteriorating. She used to talk to Rahul every day, but in Ladakh, Rahul told him that he could not talk and Priyanka felt strange. He realized that Rahul’s condition is not good, because he was staggering speaking.

Then he talked to Nitin, who said that Rahul is fine, but even after not talking to his brother in the morning, Priyanka asked Nitin to send his brother back. Rahul’s illness was detected during a checkup at the hospital in Ladakh and was brought to Mumbai.

Priyanka had said, she and her husband were arranging money and Nitin also talked about helping. He sent some money, saying that he was helping him and he wrote the same in newspapers, but he was the money that he had to meet as fees. The money sent by Nitin was not enough. The hospital bill was outstanding.

Rahul said that Salman Khan called him and asked that he could help him. After this, Salman filled the outstanding bill of the hospital and did not make headlines for this. Priyanka said that the most beautiful thing is that Salman did not say anything about this in front of the media.

Priyanka praised Salman Khan and said, ‘Everyone speaks about Salman Khan that she is like this. But the truth is that he is a very good person.
