Flood and rain again destroyed in Pakistan, 116 people died so far

Islamabad: The torrential monsoon rains and sudden floods in Pakistan since 26 June have caused havoc. Due to this flood and rain, at least 116 people have died in various areas of Pakistan so far. During this time 253 people have been injured. This information was given by the National Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan (NDMA) on Tuesday. According to the latest NDMA report, five more people died in rain -related incidents during the last 24 hours, while 41 people were injured.
East Punjab Pakistan’s most affected area
The largest number of dead in Pakistan has been recorded in Eastern Punjab province, where 44 people died. After this, 37 people died in 37 southern Sindh in North-Western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 16 in South-Western Balochistan province. One death and five injured have been reported from Pakistan-controlled Kashmir, while there was no loss of life in Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad Capital Territory.
NDMA issued warning
In view of the continuous deteriorating nature of the weather, the NDMA has issued a warning regarding the weather, which feared more heavy rains and possible floods in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and parts of Balochistan. This rain is likely to continue till Thursday.
