Vani Kapoor, who is going to make digital debut with Mandla Murdors, was felt by director Gopi Putharan

The much awaited Mythological-Crime Thriller web series ‘Mandla Murds’ of Netflix and YRF Entertainment is going to be a premiere on 25 July. This series is not only in discussion for its unique style, but is also special because Vani Kapoor is making digital debut with it.

The show is also very special for Vani Kapoor because it is working with the first famous director Gopi Putharan, whose ‘Mardaani’ franchise has been well appreciated by both critics and spectators.

Sharing her experience, Vani Kapoor said, working with Gopi sir in ‘Mandla Murdors’ is like a master class. The way he threads realism and psychological depth together, he makes every scene a multiple experience. Working with them is not just inspiring but a journey that changes the definition of crime thriller.

He further said, Gopi sir’s most special thing is his commitment to his authenticity. He expects every artist to find the invisible layers of his character. This process is challenging, but even more satisfactory. This creative journey with him is a good fortune for me and has been personally extremely transformative.

‘Mandla Murdars’ is the second project of the joint partnership of Netflix and Yash Raj Films, which started with the 2023 hit series ‘The Railway Men’. In this series, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Surveen Chawla, and strong artists like Shriya Pilgaonkar will also appear in mysterious characters.

Directed by Gopi Putharan, this series is believed to be the beginning of a new style woven from mythological symbols, intensive psychology, and layers of crime. Manan Rawat is the co-director of the show and has been produced by YRF Entertainment.
