Like Arun Govil and Nitesh Bhardwaj, Samar Jai Singh got a tremendous name-fame by playing the role of Lord Shiva in the 1997 serial ‘Om Nam: Shivaay’. Actor Samar Jai was born on 26 September 1966 in Indore. His father was a doctor by profession and mother was a housewife. But he decided to make his career in acting. In an interview to Dainik Bhaskar, Samar Jai Singh had told that he graduated from Mumbai’s Government College of Law and got a ghost to make him an actor as soon as he came to the dream city. Summer Jai Singh is the only actor of TV who became famous. However, he did not get work in films.
