Ujjain simhast 2028: The official dates of Simhastha Mahakumbh to be held in the religious city of Ujjain in the year 2028 have been announced. This grand religious event will start from 27 March 2028 and will run till 27 May 2028.
Dharmanagri of Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) and the holy city of Lord Mahakal, once again, one of the world’s largest spiritual fairs is ready to host Simhastha Mahakumbh 2028. According to the official announcement, the next Simhastha Mahakumbh will start from 27 March 2028 and run till 27 May 2028 and this Mahakumbh to be held in Ujjain every 12 years is one of the 4 major Kumbh sites (Haridwar, Prayagraj, Nashik and Ujjain). According to astrological calculations, when Jupiter enters Leo sign, Simhastha is organized in Ujjain.
Simhastha Mahakumbh is organized on the basis of astrological calculations, when the Sun enters Aries and Devguru Jupiter enters Leo, then Simhastha is held in Ujjain. This event takes place in Ujjain every 12 years and is considered one of the largest and sacred conferences of Sanatan Dharma. According to religious beliefs, Simhastha Kumbh is a huge and spiritual event known for humanity.
This will be the time when the Mahakumbh lasting 2 months will be held in the city of Ujjain, in which crores of devotees are expected to come here from the country and the world. During this time special baths will be held on the banks of the Shipra River.
