Conflict agreement between Congo and Rwanda, violence continued for more than 3 decades

Kinshasa: An important step has been taken to end the violence and struggle in the Eastern Congo, the turbulent region of the African continent. The Congo government and Rwanda -backed rebel groups have signed a historic agreement for permanent ceasefire (ceasefire). This has ended the armed conflict for about 3 decades.
The agreement was reached on Friday in the arbitration of the African Union and the United Nations, in which representatives of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the M32 rebel group participated. M32 is considered to be the support of Rwanda. The faction has been active in North Kivu and Ituri provinces of Eastern Congo for years and has been responsible for violent attacks against the citizens and security forces there.
