KL Rahul has 11 runs away from creating history, a chance to join Sachin Tendulkar’s record list on England soil

India vs england 4th Test: India’s opening batsman KL Rahul (KL Rahul) will have a chance to make a special record in the fourth Test match of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy to be held at Old Trafford Stadium in England from Wednesday (July 23).

Rahul has scored 989 runs in 24 innings of the 12 Tests played in England at an average of 41.20, with four centuries and two half -centuries and his best score is 149 runs. If he scored 11 runs, he will become the fourth Indian batsman to score 1000 or more runs in England.

So far, this feat has been done on the soil of England among veteran batsmen like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Sunil Gavaskar.

In England, Tendulkar has scored 1575 runs in 30 innings of 17 Tests at an average of 54.31, including four centuries and eight half -centuries. There Rahul Dravid has scored 1376 runs in 23 innings of 13 Tests at an average of 68.80, scoring six centuries and four half -centuries. At the same time, Gavaskar, who ranked third, has scored 1152 runs at an average of 28 innings of 16 Tests at an average of 41.14, with two centuries and eight half -centuries.

Rahul is currently at number four in the list of players who have scored the most runs in the current series. In the first three Tests, he has scored 375 runs with his bat at an average of 62.50. In which two centuries and a half -century scored and his best score was 137 runs.

Significantly, in the five-match series, England are currently 2–1 ahead.
