Actress Neha Malik, who appeared in films like ‘Gandhi Phir Aaaye Gaye’, ‘Musafir’ and ‘Pinky Mogi Wali 2’, had filed a case of theft at Amboli police station in Mumbai. According to the actress’s complaint, jewelry worth Rs 34.49 lakh was stolen at her house and the actress’s mother suspected a domestic assistant of theft. After the theft in the house, Neha Malik’s mother lodged an FIR against the house help at Amboli police station in Oshiwara, Mumbai. He expressed doubt that this whole incident has been carried out by his house help. The new update in this case is that the police have arrested the accused and also recovered stolen jewelery.

Neha Malik’s mother went to the gurudwara

According to Hindustan Times report, Neha Malik’s mother Manju Malik on Sunday filed a theft complaint against a house help working in her house. She told in her complaint that when her house help came to work on Friday, Manju left the house and went to the gurudwara to bow his head. After this, his house help did not work on Saturday. In such a situation, he tried to call him several times, but he did not pick up the phone.

Manju used to keep jewelery in the open drawer in the bedroom

Even after calling several times, when Manju’s house help did not pick up the phone, he went and checked the cupboard and came to know that all his jewels were missing. He told the police that he searched the jewelry throughout the house, but when the jewelry was not found, he suspected that his house help had stolen the jewelry, which had disappeared somewhere. Manju said that she used to keep her jewels in a bag in a wooden drawer in her bedroom. He also kept gold in the presence of his maid on several occasions.

House help arrested

On not getting jewelry in the house, Manju immediately informed her daughter Neha and told that along with the jewelry, some money is missing. Nobody goes to the house other than his maid, and no one was aware of where the jewelry was kept. The police registered a case under Section 306 of BNS and started searching for Shahnaz Mustafa Sheikh (House Help) and arrested him from JB Nagar in Andheri and also recovered stolen jewelry from him.
