What is WCL T20 Tournament: The World Championship of Legends 2025 (WCL 2025) remains the center of a major controversy at this time. But perhaps very few people would know that this tournament is neither organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) nor the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). WCL format and playing teams

The World Championship of Legends is played in the T20 format. Six teams participate in it. It includes teams from India, Pakistan, Australia, England, South Africa and West Indies. WCL’s Bollywood connection

The first season of WCL was played from 3 July to 18 July at Edgbaston, Birmingham. Interestingly, last year Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan also invested in this tournament. Ajay Devgan is the co-owner of this tournament, while Harshit Tomar is the founder and owner of WCL. This Bollywood connection makes this league even more attractive.

Ezmitrip’s important role in WCL

The tournament is being organized by Egmatrip, which is its main sponsor. The final of WCL 2025 will be played on 2 August. The tournament was also approved by England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) last year. However, after the controversy, Ezmitrip clarified that it would not support any matches related to Pakistan.
