Official: Nitish Reddy out of England Tour, Anshul Kamboj team instead of Arshdeep for fourth Test
Team India has suffered several setbacks before the fourth Test match against England in Manchester. Star all -rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy is out of the remaining matches and Arshdeep Singh is out of the fourth Test match and his place has been replaced by fast bowler Anshul Kamboj. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially informed about this.
It is very important for Team India to win the fourth Test match in Manchester. The Indian team is already lagging behind 1-2 in the 5-match series, so if the Indian team’s feet slip in Manchester, they will lose the series. There was also doubt about Akash Deep’s fitness for this fourth match, but the BCCI has included him in the team for the Manchester Test.
Now if Jasprit Bumrah is rested, it will be interesting to see which fast bowler the team management includes in the team. Some reports also states that Bumrah can play the fourth Test, while Akash Deep can be seated on the bench. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav has also been demanded to include in the playing XI, but the Chinaman spinner has not played in any of the three matches so far.
The BCCI said in its release, “All -rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy is out of the remaining two Test matches due to a left -knee injury. Nitish will return home and the team wishes for him to get well soon. Arshdeep Singh has been out of the fourth Test match against England in Manchester. BCCI was hurt while bowling on a training session in Backenham. The medical team is monitoring their progress. “
Explain that the Male Selection Committee has included Anshul Kamboj in the team. Kamboj has joined the team in Manchester. The fourth Test will begin on 23 July 2025. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see if they are included in the playing XI or not.
