The pair of coordination and Piyush finished first on the last day of Patna Mind Fest (PMF) 2025, the first place in the General Quiz competition of the highly challenging open category. Interestingly, the two participants are from Kolkata, which is considered a stronghold of quizing in the country. The second place was the team of Calvin, Babasvata and Anand, while the team of Jayakantan, music and Zaman finished third.

Competition enthusiasm in college category at its peak

The team of IGIMS, including Soham, Aman and Utpal, finished first in the college level competition. At the same time, the team of Prateek and Shwetank got second and Kumar Vivek and Shashank Kumar’s team got third place.

The little stars of the school category also brightened the knowledge of knowledge

In the school class, the team of Ishaan Bhushan, Utkarsh Singh and Ayush Mishra defeated everyone and won the first place. Behind them, Nand Kishore, Samantak, Sanskar’s team got second and Yuvraj, Adhrit and Prateek’s team got third place.

Examination of personal skills in cryptic crossword competition

The second day began with the Cryptic Crossword Competition, in which the participants individually participated. Saksham Singh topped the school category, while Shubhi Srivastava and Nanya Dev Singh finished second and third respectively. Adya Singh topped the college class, followed by eternal Sanjeev and Vandita Vidisha. In the open category, Shraddha Suri performed a strong performance and finished first, leaving behind Dahari Pandey and Calvin. A total of 220 participants in the three categories participated in this challenging competition.

The skill of youth shown in creative writing too

The results of Hindi and English creative writing competitions held on Saturday were declared on Sunday. In Hindi writing, Emperor Sameer (Open), Muskan Kumari (College) and Anushka Vidyarthi (school) finished first. In English writing, Bhavya Naithani (Open), Ankita Singh (College) and Devayangana Kishore (School) impressed everyone with their brilliant thoughts and writing.

First day attraction: India Quiz and Word B

On the first day of the festival, exciting competitions like India Quiz and Word B started. Both these competitions participated in the form of teams, where maximum three members could attend. At the same time, creative writing and crossword competitions were organized personally.

During the event, the winners were provided trophy and certificates. Chief Guest RU Singh (retired IAS). He was accompanied by special guests Vivek Kumar Singh (RERA President), Divesh Sehra (Secretary, SC/ST Welfare Department), Pranab Kumar (Secretary, Home Department), Rachna Patil (Secretary, General Administration and Convenor, Normal Administration and Convenor, PMF 2025), Sanjay Kumar, Abhay Jha, Ashutosh Dwivedi, Shekhar Anand, Nitin Kumar Singh, Anupama Singh and many other prestigious IAS officers were present. Apart from this, GM Rajiv Ranjan Sinha of Central Bank of India and RH L.C. Meena was also present.

PMF 2025: Continuation of a thoughtful initiative

Patna Mind Fest 2025, which started in 2018, is celebrating its 7th edition this year. It was not held in 2020 due to epidemic. The event is jointly organized by the IAS Officers Association, Bihar Branch and a Civil Society initiative located at Extra-C-Patna. Its main objective is to strengthen the academic tradition of the state and encourage curiosity, discovery and creativity among students and youth.
