Travel from modeling to theater
Lucknow -born Savi Sidhu’s dream was to make a career in modeling. He reached Chandigarh to fulfill this dream, but luck pulled him towards the acting world. He returned home and joined the theater and started learning the nuances of acting. The theater gave him a chance to test and enhance himself on stage. Savi started her career in 1995 with the film ‘Tauli’, where Anurag Kashyap got an eye on her acting. Later, Kashyap also gave him important roles in his popular films ‘Black Friday’ (2007) and ‘Gulal’ (2009). His performance was appreciated by film critics and audiences.
When life has taken away the speed
After this, Savi showed the diversity of acting by playing the role of a terrorist in ‘Patiala House’ (2011), ‘Day D’ (2013), ‘Initiality’ (2014) and South’s film ‘Shuramam’.
