40 -year -old Mohammad Nabi is one of the biggest names in Afghanistan cricket. In 18 years, he has played more than 440 T20 matches for more than 40 teams around the world. His last T20 for Afghanistan was at Harare Sports Club against Zimbabwe on December 2024. These days he is playing for Miss Anac Nights in Shapeja Cricket League.

On Tuesday (July 22), Nabi’s team faced the Nabi team in the match against Amo Sharks in Kabul. Nabi came to bowl in the 9th over and was in front of him, his 18 -year -old son Hassan Jesus. In the first two matches of Shapeja League, Hasan scored 6 and 35 runs respectively. In addition, he has played for Afghanistan in the 2024 Under-19 World Cup.

Hasan has played 25 T20 matches so far, scoring 599 runs with the help of four half -centuries. The prophet, who was about to retire from ODI cricket after the Champions Trophy 2025 this year, told the ICC in February that he wanted to fulfill his dream of playing international cricket for Afghanistan with his son, so he has postponed the retirement decision.
