Rishabh Shetty belongs to a middle class family. His real name is Prashant Shetty, but an astrologer advised him to change his name and he took his name to Rishabh Shetty from Prashant. In such a situation, he started selling water on the streets for his living and never harassed his parents for money. He also worked as a receptionist in a hotel and sold tea leaf. At the same time, ‘Kodugge: Ramanna Rao’, made under his direction, won the National Award for Best Children’s film and ‘Kantara’, which came in 2022, gave the name of Rishabh Shetty worldwide. Kantara was released PAN India on public demand and collected 407 crores worldwide. His film has received 9.5 ratings on IMDB and won two National Awards at the 70th National Film Awards for this film.
