Bad news about Rishabh Pant, advice for so many weeks rest after fracture in the leg

A source associated with the BCCI said in a conversation with the Indian Express, “The fracture in his leg has been detected after the scan and he is out for six weeks. The medical team is trying to come to bat again with a pain pill if needed. They are still needing support to walk, so there is little hope of batting.”
Meanwhile, the Selection Committee has asked Ishaan Kishan to stay on the stand-bye for the fifth Test as Pant will not be able to participate in the fifth and last Test match. The fifth Test will be played at the Oval from 31 July to 4 August.
The Indian team is already facing the problem of injured players. Nitish Kumar Reddy has already been out of the series due to a knee injury. Fast bowlers Akashdeep Grin and Arshdeep Singh were not available for selection in the fourth Test due to thumb injury.
Ravindra Jadeja came to bat after Pant was retired out. By the end of the first day’s play, India have scored 264 runs at the loss of 4 wickets.
