Describing the entire process as transparent, the Election Commission has said that its purpose is to ensure a clean voter list. Bird MPs have demanded a discussion on these issues by giving notice under the adjournment motion and Rule 267 in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, but due to the uproar, the proceedings of both houses are being postponed repeatedly.
