Istanbul: Iranians of Iran and European countries are scheduled to hold a meeting in Istanbul on Friday to overcome the deadlock on Iran’s nuclear program. Representatives of Britain, France and Germany will hold this meeting at the Consulate of Iran. The meeting is being held for the first time after the 12 -day war between Iran and Israel in June. During this war, the US also carried out attacks targeting Iran’s nuclear centers. Rain’s atomic centers have suffered heavy losses in these attacks.
Iran may apply for restrictions
The meeting is likely to re -implement the restrictions on Iran that were removed in 2015 when Iran admitted that its nuclear program could be banned and monitored. A diplomat of the European country on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the negotiations said that the possibility of re -banning Iran is still there. It is called ‘Snapback’, which means that the restrictions lifted can be re -implemented immediately if Iran does not follow the terms of the agreement.
‘Iran should interact honestly’
The diplomat said, “Iran has been proposed to have a possible delay in starting the procedure of Snapback (re -implementing restrictions), but the condition has been kept in return that Iran should have honestly diplomatic conversations, fully cooperate with the international nuclear power agency and resolve the concerns about its highly rich ureonium reserves.” The leaders of the European countries said that if there was no progress in the Iranian countries if there was no progress in the atomic program of Iran. The restrictions will be re -implemented by the end of August.
‘Iran will not leave nuclear program’
Meanwhile, let me tell you here that, recently Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that despite the “serious” damage to nuclear bases after the US attacks last month, Iran has no plans to leave its nuclear program. Iran’s uranium enrichment program will continue. (AP)
