Actually, the blue line metro will expand and Noida-Ghaziabad will connect to the new corridor. For the expansion of the blue line, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has sought theoretical approval from the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) to construct four metro stations in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Let us tell you that plans of Noida Sector 62 to Sahibabad and Mohan Nagar have been under construction since 2020.

According to the information received, the 3 km route from New Bus base to Ghaziabad railway station on the red line, which will have a station. At the same time, a 5.1 km elevated corridor with 5 stations between Sahibabad and Noida Sector 62 on the blue line, 4 km elevated expansion from Mohan Nagar to Vaishali on the blue line, which will have four stations, and a 12 km expansion from Gokulpuri (Interchange on Pink Line) on Red Line.

It will be easy to go to Hindon Airport

There are expansion of Noida Electronic City to Sahibabad and Vaishali from Mohan Nagar Blue Line, while Earth Pink Line is expanded and Arthala has an interchange on the red line route. The draft of the routes prepared by DMRC shows that the route from the martyr site to Ghaziabad railway station will be about 3 km long and there will be a station. The distance from Noida Electronic City to Sahibabad will be about 5.1 km and it will have a total of five stations including Indirapuram, Shakti Khand and Vasundhara Sector 5. There will be a total of four stations in the 5 km Vaishali to Mohan Nagar Corridor, including Sector 14 of Prahladgarhi and Vasundhara. The 12 km from Gokulpuri to Earthla Corridor will have a mixture of underground (4 km) and elevated (8 km) with eight stations including Hindon Civil Terminal.

Loni will also get metro connectivity

This corridor will also provide metro connectivity to Loni and will help reduce congestion in the area bordering Delhi. With an estimated construction cost of Rs 300 crore per kilometer, the estimated budget for the total 25 km length of the four corridors is Rs 7,500 crore. The previous DPR of Noida Electronic City-Sahibabad line, which cost Rs 1,873 crore. The fund was stopped from 2018 due to lack of funds.
