Although the internet service was restored again after a 2.5 -hour outage, the company owner Alan Musk called users sorry for this and promised not to happen again. Earlier, Starlink’s parent company Spacex has also apologized for this problem.
In fact, millions of users from America and Europe were having trouble using Starlink’s broadband service. This happened due to a disturbance in Starlink’s internal software. This was a rare disturbance in Starlink’s satellite internet service. Satellite Internet is considered to be the most trusted service, due to which this problem in it was shocking. The problem in the service was reported by more than 61 thousand users on Downdetector.
There is access to 140 countries
Starlink has access to more than 140 countries in the world. Soon, Starlink service is going to start in India too. The entire military communication of Ukraine, who is fighting Russia, depends on the satellite of the Starlink. In such a situation, due to the problem in Starillanank’s service, the military operations of many countries were also affected. Ukraine’s Drone Force Commander Robard Browddy has accepted the affecting military operation due to the outage in Starlink.
Business will affect
Alan Musk’s company Spacex launched Starlink Satellite Internet Broadband Service in 2020. The company has launched the communication satellites roaming 8,000 Leo i.e. Low Earth orbit for this. Through these satellites, Starlink is providing high speed satellite service all over the world. This outage can also affect the business of Spacex.
More than 85 million Icrosoft Windows devices were affected due to outage in Crowdstrike Cyber Security Software last year. After this outage, a large number of users canceled the subscription of the crowdstruk.
