Bumrah made wicketkeeper batsman Jamie Smith (9 runs) his victim. Along with this, he has made some special records.
50 wickets in England
Bumrah has completed his 50 Test wickets in England and he has become the second bowler of India to do so. Before that, this feat was done only by Ishant Sharma, who has 51 Test wickets in England.
The first Indian to do so
Bumrah has become the first bowler of India and Asia to take 50 or more Test wickets in two countries outside the house. He has 64 Test wickets in Australia.
Apart from this, Bumrah has become the sixth foreign bowler, who has taken 50 or more wickets on the land of England and Australia. Prior to him, Richard Hadley, Lance Gibbs, Michael Holding, Katli Ambros and Courtney Walsh did this feat.
Wasim Akram beaten
Jasprit Bumrah has come second by beating Wasim Akram in terms of taking the most international wickets in England as an Asian bowler. Bumrah now has 82 wickets in 39 innings, while Akram has taken 81 wickets in 46 innings. Mohammad Aamir (87 wickets) holds number one in this list.
