Scramble between CM and Deputy CM officials in Karnataka Bhavan

New Delhi: In Karnataka, where the internal politics of CM is intensified between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivkumar, now the officials of these two are also fighting each other. Two officers posted at Karnataka Bhavan in Delhi came to a scuffle and even hitting shoes. One of these two officers is Mohan Kumar, Special Work Officer of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, while the other Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivkumar’s Special Affairs Officer is H. Anjaneya. In connection with this incident, A. Anjaneya has also sent a complaint to the Resident Commissioner and the Chief Secretary of Karnataka.

Accused of obstructing work

Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivkumar’s Special Affairs Officer H Anjaneya has alleged in his complaint that the Chief Minister’s Special Officer Mohan Kumar is obstructing his duties. Mohan Kumar has threatened them to take off shoes and beaten them. H. Anjaneya has written in his complaint that Mohan Kumar C., Assistant Resident Commissioner (Grade-2) (HK) is hindering my duties from date of reporting till date. He threatened to beat me by taking off his shoes in front of everyone outside the office.

Demand for investigation of service book

H. Anjaneya wrote that I am a Group-B officer and is discharging my duties as Special Officer of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister. If there is an accident with me, the reason for this is Mohan Kumar.C. Assistant Residential Commissioner (Grade-2) (H.K.). Not only this, H. Anjaneya has also requested a thorough investigation of Mohan Kumar’s previous service book and has alleged disrespect to senior officials. Mohan Kumar wrote-‘I request you that departmental inquiry should be done against the said person during his service period, they should not be given promotion, and their accountability should be decided who have shocked me and vowed to beat me up and have hurt my honor and dignity.’ Mohan Kumar also alleged that Anjaneya behaved unfairly with women employees at Karnataka Bhavan, due to which a complaint has been lodged with the Women’s Commission regarding their conduct.

The case will be investigated

On the other hand, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on the incident that the matter will be investigated. The Chief Minister said, “It seems that something has happened between the two officers. I have also received complaints about this. The investigation will be done. Let us know that the incident has come to light at a time when Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivkumar reached Delhi once again. After this, the discussion started in political circles whether CM Siddaramaiah will complete the five -year tenure or DK Shivkumar will get a chance?
